How important is good SEO to your websites/galleries?

I've done a lot of work on trying to make my sites as SEO friendly as I can (based on bits and pieces I've picked up around the place) and this seems to have really paid off at times.

How important is it to everyone else?

Yes we think it is very important.

We cannot believe how many webmasters, make pages or whole sites, without SEO in mind.

We have seen many sites that donot have meta tags in place. You could ask, do search engines actually look at metas these days? that subject is up to debate still, as could be page layout and alt and title tag descriptions left out.

And with meta tags, at least adult site owners should have in place a classification and or rating tag to say that the content is adult. This is up for debate also, but we believe them to be in use. Every effort to keep the little foke out of our industry, and show the parents we are trying to keep the little ones out.

But this is just our observation mate, yours and or others mileage may vary.
