What if... $11 Million Dollars

Alright so I was watching the news and cracking up to the report about a couple who found 11 million in their bank account and decided to spend it – despite the fact it was clearly a clerical bank error and they knew it! It apparently took the bank 7 months to find out about the mistake and have now seized all the assets the couple spent the money on hahaha.

Anyway I thought it was a funny scenario and decided I’d pose the questions here. If you found 11 million dollars in your bank account, would you touch it? And what would you spend it on? (assuming of course you COULD and did get away with it). What would you do with all that money?

Wack it all into an investment account. I read a few years back that this happend and they got to keep the interest earnings because it wasn't the initial amount. :)

hahaha exactly. Fuck, 7 months? 7 hours is all it would take in planning or scheming... and the very next day I'd be on a plane so quick you're head would spin... and it would be, "See ya little Johnny Howard... and helloooo Brazil!"

Mate, 10+ million in South America, surrounded by all those lovely, busty, and thick arsed beauties would be fucking phenomenal!! Not to mention buying a fucking villa, a few pounds of blow, and partying hard in the Rio Carnaval!!! LOL. I could definitely get use to that lifestyle of just fucking, sleeping, drinking, and having a laugh... actually come to think of it that’s my life now hahaha.

I would be trying to turn as much profit to skim off the top as possible. Sounds they were not prepared for such a random but alarmingly common occurance. I have been on both sides of this one after depositing my rent incorrectly and having no choice but to pay double after it was spent by the lucky receiver. I have also been lucky enough to find a weird amount which was never worried about. I checked all sources and had no idea who the person was putting funds into my account. I beleive we are about even.

hahaha, actually you just reminded me... a few years back, around 92, this happened to my mate as well - but not to THAT extent. If I remember corrently he checked his CBA account one day while we were just screwing around - we had just left school (year 10) and were unemplyed, bored, punching cones, etc, and I remember he found $700 bucks in his account, which wasn't his.

hahaha, funny part was we ripped it out right away and we blew half on the pokies, which we won an extra Grand, and the other half on pot! And I can tell you back then $500 bought you some wicked, not to mention large amount of gear.

Funnily enough my mate ended up turning that cash into almost 5K, but then the dick, ended up blowing it all (smoking ALL the profit) about 2 months later... hehe, I atleast scored a car out of it... this real shitty little Ford Escort we bought for about $500 (to "drive us around") and a couple cones hahaha... ahhh those were the days, to be young again. lol

But yeah that whooole period all started by chance when he found the extra dosh. Funny part was a few months later the bloke ended up right back where we started, with the addition of a few dramas - gangmembers, pimps, and other troubles we didnt need lol, and the bank sent him a letter saying he had to pay it all back hahaha

Probably have... if you're familiar with the western suburbs of Sydney, theres a sleepy little village town (I'm being sarcastic here hehe) called Bankstown in which I'm born and bred.

hehe on the right we got Punchbowl, Belmore, Lakemba (or Leb-kemba as we call it) which speaks for itself, then on the left we got Revesby, Panania, Milperra (bikies) hehe. Then on the other side we got Greenacre (drug dealers a plenty) and Georges Hall (car theives, sluts, and sex parties etc) and to top it off theres me, a pornographer, smack bang in the middle. lol... and EVERYONE KNOWS who I am!!! Considering I use to terrorise everyone when I was young... (and still do sometimes) ahahaha

I tell ya it's fucking "entertaining", and distrubing at times too... it's like living in a real life GTA game.
