What do other people think about internet security? Does anyone really give a puck? Do people just surf the net willy nilly and not worry about getting hit with a nasty bug.
How do people get around the net. Click away, or check out the sites before one would visit them. I dont know maybe put the site into google and see what comes up?
How much trust do people put in there anti virus software. Do people even give a fcuk?
Like email and windows. If one is running ms win XPsp2 with outlook express. One would have to put a lot of trust in the anti virus software to check ones email. Most people we know just hit send and receive to check ones email with the above machine setup. Not a very safe way to do it. One realy hopes the anti virus program is up todate and is worth the money. Just read it in plain text first, then change it to html if it can be trusted, we have said to people that dont use pcs much, as an easy way. We use a third party program to read our mail boxs first, get rid of the rubbish, then download it to our pc. what about others?
