Virtual world of Second Life - Xxx style

Would any aussies have had a go at it or know others that have?

Could this be the next big thing, selling porn in this virtual world of Second Life?

As new technologies and fads come and go, do people think this online world called Second Life will catch on as the Sims did for video games?

There was a item on 60 minutes (channel 9) a little while ago. "Second Life, created by Linden Lab in 2003, is one of the most popular digital virtual worlds on the internet, with more than eight million users worldwide."

In the item they said how many were making big bucks $USD in the new world. And how there was and adult side to it also. Selling "adult xxx fun" in this virtual world of Second Life.

We then see today in the IT news how Canada seeks virtual cops, technology savvy candidates, for crime fighters the virtual world of Second Life. AS criminals increasingly hijack digital technologies.

Can others see, or have thought of, a way to make money out of this virtual world?

You prolly could, but the whole concept seemed like a load of wank/effort to me. So I didn't bother looking into it.

Mate as always you are prolly on the right track, but as trends shift with the newest generation of internet, the more one looks into this, it is an eye opener, one can only at this point say, never say never.

Socially rich, virtual communities and Web 2.0 interactive Internet, could be, merely the evolution of the World Wide Web, the way of the future. As Garv and Kalgor with "forums.DS" and TGP and CFF, has done. User generated content.

On adult BBS over the net it has been said the old way of making a $ with linklists, tgps and galleries and such, is fading. So one is looking into new ways that one could make a buck.

Mate who knows the future, we are just trying to throw some ideas up in the air, got to stay up with the times one could guess. Fcuks me...lol....

I could guess one thing, if we could get aussie adult webmasters to work together, the sky would be the limit. Put all the shit aside and work towards a commen goal, work together, be fair, and all making money......

There must be a way to get aussie adult webmasters working together........ Unite under one roof...... The more people working together is always a good thing in a successful business.

As you know Bluey, I second that - the oz adult community isn't a big one, but pound for pound the most hard working and [multi] talented IMHO. We can mix it up with the best of them from around the globe - take your pick.

As for the "Second Life" stuff, I guess its true what they say, "If you build it, they will come."

I really believe that that IS the way of the future - people/member created and powered content. I mean if you had any doubts, I got two words for ya - you tube.

Yes TGP you are right, there are a lot of talented aussie's in the adult industry in Australia.

Mate you would not believe how many emails we have sent to aussies in the adult business over the last few weeks. Letting them know about and asking for there input in this adult community we have here. And not one reply. Not one reply. How the fcuk can this be done? How does one get them talking together. Mixing in the one place. Meeting face to face. I dont know. Its not as if we used a free email address when we tryed to talk to them, we used this domains address as a ruturn email addy. Fcuks me, i dont know.
