Does anyone use G-mail from Google? Myself dont as yet, using our own domains. But have heard it is good for stopping spam. Can you redirect to another account with it? If so could one bounce email through it, the redirect it to another account, to use the spam filter?

Read that it was stopped in Germany. Google may not use the name in Germany,"Gmail". A german guy has used the name "G-Mail" since 2000, four years before the US giant launched its "Gmail" product. The regional court ruled that Google may not use the name. The blokes lawyers said Google had subjected their client to a costly three year legal marathon, that was still going. Google was taking him also to court in 3 other countrys in europe.

The big company also reckons that it was all to extort a princely sum from the company for the brand name. Was the main reason, old mate keep the case going. But then old mate hit back by saying "Neither G-mail nor he can be bought".

One would reckon he would need a big set of nuts and a big wallet to take on the big boys of the G. Go hard mate if you think you are right and can win, fuck getting pushed around in court. That shit can hit hard in the hip pocket, fucken lawyers (bottom feeders some of them).
