Ok hands up, who has one, either an Xbox or a playstation, or another brand, Nintendo Wii or what ever. Maybe just (if you are into them) play games on ones pc.

*Hand raised here*.

Seems aussies love there entertainment, and have spent many many million's on gaming consoles and games last year.

Some pucker is quoting 15.4 million games in 2007 were purchased, with a third sold in the last quarter of the year, Christmas.

Hell, that is a lot of coin for, interactive entertainment. The gaming industry is no longer a niche market appealing only to traditional gamers. It is reported that gamers are getting older. Shit i am 20 years older then 20 and have an xbox 360, with call of duty 3 and command & conquer 3. Finding time to play the pucken thing is another matter, but do from time to time.

LOL, something that just came to mind, i saw an add on tv late last night on ch 10 in which it said 49% of aussie were over weight. LOL could, the above have anything to do with it? Puckers gaming and not getting out and doing a bit? To be fully aware of or sensitive to, some people are just born large, but one does see a lot of fat puck getting around these days now one thinks about it.

Anyway back on topic, who's into gaming? And what you got?

mate it is HUGE business and its is only going to get bigger. I still havent bought a xbox or ps3 yet(i have a ps2) because I never have any time.

I think it has ALOT to do with kids especially being overweight. When we grewup we would run ourselves stupid after school. Now a days kids just sit there only moving their thumbs. It is really very sad. There is nothing wrong with video games for kids as long as they do exercise too.
